ECO-CLEAN Solutions was the first to bring BEBOT to the West Coast, introducing cutting-edge, eco-friendly beach-cleaning technology to Lake Tahoe. Designed to preserve shorelines without disrupting natural habitats, BEBOT offers an low-impact, innovative solution to tackling beach litter.

With 15 million visitor days annually, Tahoe’s busiest beaches see a surge in waste, especially during peak season. While volunteer cleanups are essential, BEBOT’s advanced technology maximizes these efforts, making shoreline restoration more effecient and sustainable. 

What Makes BEBOT a Game-Changer?

✅ Deep Cleaning – Sifts 1-4 inches into the sand, capturing bottle caps, food wrappers, nicotine pouches, and cigarette butts.

✅ Micro-Level Precision – Removes debris as small as 1 centimeter from beneath the surface.

✅ High-Speed Efficiency – Remotely operated, BEBOT cleans up to 32,000 sq. ft. per hour, making it faster and more effective than traditional methods.

✅ Eco-Friendly & Low-Impact – Zero emissions, preserving fragile shoreline ecosystems while keeping beaches clean and pristine.

By removing litter from the beach before it breaks down into harmful microplastics, BEBOT helps prevent long-term pollution and ensures that Lake Tahoe’s waters remain pristine for generations to come.

Since launching our pilot project in 2022 in partnership with Keep Tahoe Blue, BEBOT has set a new standard for shoreline maintenance and remains the only TRPA-permitted mechanical beach cleaner in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
