Full Beach Cleanup with BEBOT at Meeks Bay
📍 Meeks Bay Beach, Lake Tahoe
96158 Meeks Bay Ave, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
🗓️ Friday, August 22 | 7:00–11:00 AM
Join us for a full-scale BEBOT beach cleanup at beautiful Meeks Bay! BEBOT is our electric, solar-powered beach-cleaning robot designed to remove buried litter before it reaches the lake and threatens Tahoe’s legendary clarity.
As one of the most visited beaches on the West Shore, Meeks Bay is a critical cleanup site. We’re excited to return for an early morning sweep to protect the shoreline during peak summer season. Come by, say hello, see BEBOT in action, and learn more about how innovative tech is helping keep Tahoe clean!
🌊 Stick around afterward for an Eyes on the Lake training, presented by our partners at Keep Tahoe Blue.
📌 Please note: This site is managed by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California under a special use permit with the USDA Forest Service. No dogs allowed on the beach.
