Do you love spending time on the water at Lake Tahoe? Join us for a free Eyes on the Lake training, where you’ll learn to identify native and invasive aquatic plants and become part of the first line of defense in protecting Tahoe’s clarity.
All ages welcome—perfect for kayakers, paddleboarders, shoreline walkers, and anyone who wants to help Keep Tahoe Blue!
What to Expect:
🔹 Learn to spot and report invasive species using the League’s citizen science tools
🔹 Hands-on training at Tahoe Keys Marina dock
🔹 Receive a waterproof plant ID guide and refreshments
🔹 Presentation: 10–11:30 AM | Dock survey: 11:30 AM–12 PM
What to Bring:
Smartphone (for the survey app), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water-friendly shoes.
We Provide:
Training, ID guides, pencils/paper, and refreshments.
