After Tahoe’s legendary 4th of July celebrations, our beaches need some serious TLC. Trash and litter left behind can threaten wildlife and harm the Lake’s famous clarity—but together, we can make a difference.

📍 Where: Cleanup sites all around Lake Tahoe—pick your favorite and bring a friend!

Join hundreds of Tahoe locals and visitors as we come together for the biggest cleanup of the year. Whether you stay an hour or the whole morning, every helping hand makes an impact.

Sign up for one of the meeting locations linked below. You will receive a confirmation from no-reply@galaxydigital.com.
If you do not pre-register, you will need to complete a volunteer waiver onsite during check-in.
Note for minors:
Volunteers under 18 – will need to create a volunteer account and provide a guardian email to complete the waiver online.
Volunteers under 13 – will need to provide a guardian email to create a volunteer account and complete the waiver online.
If you are having trouble registering minors online, please register day of at the check-in tent onsite at your location of choice.
Locations: Choose a meeting location below. Click the site link to register for that location or walk-in. We will be cleaning the surrounding area.

Commons Beach – Meet at Commons Beach and clean the beach, through the town and into 64 Acres
In partnership with Tahoe City Public Utility District
Kings Beach – Meet at Kings Beach and clean the beach and surrounding town. Also clean North Tahoe Beach, Secline Beach and Moon Dunes
In partnership with CA State Parks, Northstar Mountain Resort, and Eco-Clean Solutions
Kiva Beach – Meet at Tallac Historic Site and clean the area to Kiva Beach and towards the highway and towards Camp Richardson. Pre-registration is closed for this location, please register onsite at the check-in tent.
In partnership with the USFS Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit and Heavenly Mountain Resort
Lakeview Commons – Meet at Lakeview Commons and clean the surrounding area and down to Regan Beach and Hidden Beach
In partnership with the City of South Lake Tahoe and Kirkwood Mountain Resort
Nevada Beach – Meet at Nevada Beach and clean the beach and campground. Also clean Elks Point Road
In partnership with Vista Recreation
Zephyr Cove – Meet at Zephyr Cove and clean through Zephyr Shoals
In partnership with USFS Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, Aramark Destinations, and Stio Mountain Studio Tahoe,
Be sure to bring:
Hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and shoes
Cleanup gloves and grabbers (if you have them)
Sunscreen
Full reusable water bottle or travel mug
Any snacks you would like
We provide:
Cleanup materials (gloves, bags, etc.)
Refreshments
Cool giveaways
Our cleanup efforts are made possible by a generous community of Tahoe lovers. We need your help to buy supplies, staff a dedicated team of experts, and do preventative work to stop litter at the source.
